Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of Mefi's Asset Bridge (the "Service"), which includes the Joomla! component, Joomla! plugins, WordPress widgets, Yootheme integration scripts, and the server component hosted at https://staging-asset-bridge.ugoran.com/. The Service is provided and operated by the responsible officer named below in Castellón de la Plana, Spain.
Definitions
- Service: Mefi's Asset Bridge and any related software, websites, APIs and services.
- We, us, our: the operator of the Service (responsible officer).
- You, your: the individual or entity using the Service.
- Account: any account, registration or subscription you hold with us.
- Master key: the encryption key you control that is used to encrypt your asset content Client‑side. We never transmit, receive, or store your master key; if you lose it we cannot decrypt your assets.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Castellón de la Plana, Spain.
Scope & availability
- Product: Mefi's Asset Bridge (Joomla/WordPress + Yootheme integration + our server).
- Availability: worldwide. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Subscriptions, Payments and Refunds
Billing & Refunds: Subscriptions renew automatically and will continue until canceled. Billing occurs at the time of purchase and, where applicable, at each renewal. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record.
Customers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase in accordance with Paddle’s Buyer Terms and applicable consumer protection laws.
All refunds are handled and processed by Paddle. We do not impose any additional conditions, limitations, or eligibility criteria beyond those defined by Paddle.

Responsible API use, suspension & termination
Use the Service responsibly. Excessive or abusive API use may result in throttling, temporary suspension, or permanent ban, including for paying customers. If abuse is detected your account may be blocked and banned from future use. For questions about suspensions or termination, contact the responsible officer.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless us and our officers from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Intellectual property & user data
All intellectual property rights in the Service remain with us or our licensors. Your uploaded content and assets remain your property. Your asset data is encrypted and stored on our servers. If your account is terminated, your data will be erased in accordance with our data retention practices; contact support for specifics or read more about our data handling in our Privacy Policy.
Modification or distribution of the Service
You may not modify, distribute, sell, lease, rent, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the Service, or any portion of it, except as expressly permitted in these Terms. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.
Encryption & Key Management
Asset data and thumbnails are encrypted on your server before it is sent to us. Master key will be temporarily stored in your server's session. We do not receive, transmit, or retain your master key on our servers. We cannot decrypt assets without the master key, we cannot recover encrypted asset content if you lose the key. We recommend securely backing up your master key.
Modification of terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will display a notification inside the Mefi's Asset Bridge app and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent prohibited by applicable law. Except where prohibited by law, our aggregate liability for direct damages arising out of or relating to these Terms will be limited to the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be zero). In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
Force majeure, assignment, severability & entire agreement
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). These Terms are binding on both parties and their permitted successors and assigns; you may not assign your rights without our consent. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
Age restriction
There is no specific age restriction in these Terms; users must comply with any applicable local age requirements for using online services.
